“Chiropractors do not realize how powerful they have become here at the Capitol.”
The doctors started their day with our traditional information sharing breakfast briefing led by the MCA lobby team and followed by comments of encouragement from legislators. By 8:30 a.m., they were off to the Capitol Great Hall to gather the students for appointments.
At the end of the day, over 150 doctors and 300 students packed the Capitol to share the chiropractic position on key issues.
That statement was made by one senator during a meeting with his constituent who had driven over three hours to meet with him.
New this year, MCA Metro East and the law firm Martineau, Gonko and Vavreck cosponsored a fabulous reception following the appointments which gave doctors and legislators a great opportunity to further exchange ideas in a relaxing and engaging manor.
