The 21th Annual MCA NW District Pheasant Hunt/ Seminar is a day where colleagues come together to network, hunt, enjoy food, and learn with 4hrs of CEUs. This year we are offering 3 radiology hours and 1 professional boundary hour. The radiology hours will consist of a review of different tumor and tumor-like pathologies encountered in chiropractic practice along with a review of developmental variants of anatomy and their clinical significance, if any. The professional boundaries hour will consist of a case format discussion of past board reprimanded cases and social media related concerns.

Learning Objectives

  1. Review tumor and tumor-like disease processes that affect the skeleton and their relevance to chiropractic case management.
  2. Review developmental variants/anomalies of skeletal anatomy and their revelance to chiropractic case management.
  3. Discuss professional and ethical standards of practice through discussions of previous board violations and the relevant statutes/regulations.

Speaker

Dr. Christopher Petrie DC, DACBRDr. Christopher Petrie DC, DACBR

Dr. Christopher Petrie, DC, DACBR, currently serves as an Associate Professor and the Director of Clinical Education at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. He completed his DC degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, and completed his radiology residency at Parker University in Dallas, TX, where he subsequently served as a faculty member and department chair. He has held Diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology since the completion of his residency in 2009. He has previously operated a private consulting practice serving clinicians and imaging centers in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.

Highway 59 No. from Mahnomen for 10 miles, turn right (east) on County Road 1, proceed for 3 miles, watch for sign. Turn right, proceed for ½ mile. McCollum’s will be the first farm on the left, 1468 170th Ave.
