Session Overview

This seminar will examine the etiology and basic physiology of inflammation, the prevalence and role in chronic disease the typical chiropractic clinic will encounter. Specifically it will look at inflammation and its role in Hypertension and Diabetes, assessing the nutritional basis of inflammation in musculoskeletal disorders and appropriate nutritional strategies. Finally the seminar will deal with acupuncture as an adjunct in the management of inflammatory disorders.

About the Presenter

Dr. Peterson draws on his diverse education in chemistry, physiology, nutrition and the health care field to offer an innovative approach to health. Even though he has been a chiropractor for more than 25 years, biochemistry has always been his hidden passion. He has a Diplomat from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists. He has studied naturopathy and has extensive training and experience with multiple muscle testing disciplines, utilizing nutritional therapies in the management of chronic degenerative disorders, acupuncture and various chiropractic techniques.


Cancellation policy: With written cancellation notice, received one week prior to the event, you will receive a refund, less a $10 processing fee. Cancellations the week before the event are non-refundable. Notice of cancellation must be faxed to the MCA office. No-shows will not receive a refund.
