March Live Webinar: Current Knowledge on Head Injuries

The current literature on injuries that fall under the category of head injuries will be discussed. Recent literature on the pathophysiology and occurrence of concussions will be explained. The occurrence of other common conditions that have signs and symptoms similar to concussions will be explained with a brief overview on how to differential diagnosis these conditions. Providers who attend will be instructed on the role of the chiropractor as part of the specialized health care team that treats head injuries.


Attendees will:

  1. Understand the pathophysiology of traumatic brain injuries, concussions, and other related conditions
  2. Understand pertinent red flag signs and symptoms that indicate when advance imaging and management are required.
  3. Understand associated conditions that must be assessed for during head injuries.
  4. Understand the role of a chiropractor for treating head injuries.


Adrienne CaldwellDr. Jordan Knowlton-Key

Dr. Jordan Knowlton-Key completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2017 and obtained his Masters of Exercise Science from Concordia University, St. Paul, in April 2019. After graduating from the doctorate program, Dr. Jordan completed a two-year Human Performance Chiropractic Fellowship at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he has gained experience in advance care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body, rehabilitation, and athletic event medical coverage. He is now the Integrative Clinical Coordinator for the Human Performance Center at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
